I am Miriam. A hydrologist-turned-photographer.
Photography has been a big part of my life over the years, it gave my passion a purpose. During my time as a Hydrologist I realized that I wanted to document the research I was conducting and share the stories of the people living in my places of research in a more visual manner. At the same time, I noticed the incredible research of my mentors and teachers deserves an audience beyond the scientific community. It is essential for each of us to understand the challenges our planet and its habitants face. With my photography I want to expose these issues and help close the gap between research and the wider audience.
